EAP’s Dr. J. M. Paiz Leads Invited Workshop in LGBTQ+-inclusive Education to Faculty in Pilani and Dehli

EAP’s Dr. J. M. Paiz recently led an invited workshop on LGBTQ+-inclusive education to a faculty from diverse disciplinary backgrounds at the Birla Institutes of Technology and Science in Pilani, India, and at Jawahar Lal Nehru University in Dehli, India. This workshop aimed to prepare educators to respond to recent legislative and societal shifts in India that have seen greater attention paid to the rights and inclusion of LGBTQ+-identifying individuals in Indian society at large and in higher education more specifically.
