The Columbian College of Arts & Sciences has a general education curriculum for its undergraduate students, requiring students to take certain courses which enhance analytical skills, develop communication competencies, and invite them to participate as responsible citizens who are attentive to issues of culture, diversity, and privilege. As of Fall 2019, the EAP course "Oral Academic Communication for International Students" (EAP 1010) now fulfills a CCAS Oral Communication G-PAC requirement. This courses focus on traditional academic skills such as listening and note-taking, class discussions, and presentations but it also helps students develop a “voice” in oral communication situations. You can search for G-PAC courses at the Schedule of Classes search engine by typing its acronym in the Course Attributes search box. The "Oral Communication" requirement is searchable with "CCOM." Please consider registering, and develop your voice this fall!
